Our parish comprises the villages of Binegar and Gurney Slade. They lie close by each other high on the Mendip Hills near the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Parish Council is made up of seven Councillors elected in 2019 to serve for four years. It meets on the first Tuesday of most months (there are no meetings in January and August) at 7 30 pm in the Memorial Hall. You are welcome to attend. If you wish to raise something, come along.

Our Footpath Officer is Paul Sharp. Paul inspects and maintains footpaths in the Parish and liaises with Somerset County Council, which is responsible overall for paths. Use the Contact Us page for any issues you have for Paul.
